Originally written with fellow friend to the monkeys in a college jam out, Mark Wood. We loved playing this song. Sometimes I tell myself that it was a bold metaphor. We, the humans, were the proverbial "monkey races". But really, it's more about watching monkeys run around a track. And who doesn't want to see that?

I still remember the moment when we wrote this, recording at Mass Art in our scrappy sound studio, one of us commented, "Set up the monkey track." Meaning a recording track. But a greater good was born.
